You spent years building a career, raising a family, solving problems and getting things done.

Now it’s your turn.

Old Bull Strength is a small-group strength and conditioning program designed for men aged 50+ who want to stay strong, capable and ready for whatever life throws at them.

Whether you’re still working, recently retired, riding bikes, hiking trails, chasing grandchildren or simply want to feel stronger than you do today, Old Bull Strength provides a place to train with purpose.

This isn’t about slowing down.

It’s about staying in the game.

What Is Old Bull Strength?

Old Bull Strength combines strength training, conditioning, boxing and functional movement in a supportive environment where men can train alongside other men who value hard work, resilience and personal responsibility.

 

Every session is designed to help you:

  • Build strength and muscle

  • Improve fitness and stamina

  • Move with confidence

  • Improve agility and coordination

  • Maintain independence

  • Stay active in work, sport and life

  • Connect with like-minded men

Most importantly, it’s about creating a community where men can challenge themselves, support each other and enjoy training again.

The goal isn’t to become a bodybuilder.

The goal is to stay strong enough to keep doing the things you enjoy.

Each session may include:

 

Strength Training

Build muscle, strength and resilience using proven resistance training methods.

 

Boxing Drills

Improve fitness, coordination, reaction time and confidence while having fun.

 

Conditioning

Develop the stamina to tackle everyday life and recreational activities.

 

Agility & Footwork

Stay quick, coordinated and confident on your feet.

 

Mobility & Movement

Maintain the movement quality needed to keep doing what matters.

 

Community

Train alongside a group of blokes who understand the value of showing up and putting in the work.

Location: Foundation Allied Health, Lawson

 

Currently offering two sessions per week:

Fridays 1000-1045am

Sessions are charged at $25 per visit.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need gym experience?

No. Whether you’ve been training for years or haven’t stepped into a gym in decades, exercises can be modified to suit your starting point.

Am I too old to start?

Not at all.

Strength can be improved at any age and many participants wish they had started sooner.

Is boxing compulsory?

No.

Boxing is simply one of the tools we use to improve fitness, coordination and confidence. Alternative exercises are always available.

What if I have arthritis, joint pain or a medical condition?

Many participants have existing health conditions. Exercises can be modified to suit your needs and abilities.

How fit do I need to be?

You don’t need to be fit to start. The program is designed to help you become fitter, stronger and more capable over time.

Will I be lifting heavy weights?

You will train at a level appropriate for your abilities. The focus is gradual progression and long-term success.

How many people are in each session?

We keep groups small to allow for coaching, supervision and individual attention.

What should I bring?

  • Comfortable training clothes

  • Enclosed training shoes

  • Water bottle

  • Towel

How often should I attend?

Most participants benefit from attending one to two sessions each week.
